Yes my bf is currently doing time at wskcc he has been there since August 2012 he told me I can’t visit because we weren’t married is this true and he also told me I need to feel the visitation form out as his sister not his girlfriend and I just don’t feel right lying on the application.

      Hi Maria,
We could not find out specific information on their web site to indicate that you have to be married to visit an inmate because a girlfriend cannot visit an inmate. I would recommend contacting the facility and request the information generally without giving specific names. We never heard of such a requirement.

  7. Lacy Waddell November 16, 2012 at 2:31 am #

My son is 19 months and has never met his father so we were trying to figure something out. Thank You.

  8. PrisonPath November 16, 2012 at 2:55 am #

    Hi Lacy,

William s. Key is a minimum security facility. A review of their visitation section does not indicate that you need approval for a visit. I would recommend strongly that you call the facility to confirm what if anything is needed for approval re: visitation. The telephone number is listed on our prison page. On our page, we have an advertisement for an inmate dog tag necklace for the family members, let us know what you think of this?
