SCI Visitation Rules/Procedures Visits will be made by the visitor one week in advance by telephone. Visits are by appointment only and the visitor must report thirty (30) minutes prior to the scheduled visiting time to the front door. The inmate being visited is responsible for confirming his scheduled visiting time with their visitor. NOTE: Once you schedule a visit, it will not be changed!
Visitors sixteen years and older must have photo identification. All visitors are subject to a metal detector search at the time of each visit. When deemed necessary, the security staff may request a more intense physical search and a background check. Should the visitor refuse to comply, they will be denied entrance and ordered off of the property. Inmates will be permitted three visitors at each visit, regardless of age, except that one visitor must be an adult, eighteen years of age or older. Only the following items are allowed into the institution: photo identification; two car keys; wedding band/engagement ring; medical alert necklace/bracelet; and life-saving medication. NOTE: If an item is not on this list, it will not go in.
