Visitation Schedule for General Population Inmates Saturday and Sunday 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Friday night 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. (for those unable to visit on the weekends) Visitation for Maximum Custody Inmates Saturday and Sunday 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Friday night 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. (for those unable to visit on the weekends) (Visits are non-contact and limited to one hour.) Visitation for Inmates in Protective Custody Saturday and Sunday 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Friday night 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.(for those unable to visit on the weekends) (Visits are non-contact, limited to one hour and must be pre-approved in advance.) Visitation for Juvenile Inmates Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Fridays are designated by the warden or commissioner (for those unable to visit on the weekends) (All families are required to call annex AWO for pre-approval.) Note: *Visitation on holidays 12:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. *Friday night visitation does not occur during a week when a holiday visitation occurs.
All incoming inmate privileged mail, staff mail, and packages shall be fluoroscoped for contraband prior to leaving the mail room.
3. Incoming mail may be determined to be a threat to the security of the institution and returned to the sender if, in the opinion of the Warden, it could reasonably be considered to:
a. Be an attempt to incite violence based on race, religion, sex, creed, or nationality.
b. Advocate, facilitate, or otherwise present a risk of lawlessness, violence, anarchy, or rebellion against government authority, prison staff, and/or other inmates. c. Be an attempt to incite disobedience toward law enforcement officials or prison staff.
d. Be an attempt to give instructions for the manufacturing or use of intoxicants, weapons, explosives, drugs, drug paraphernalia, other unlawful articles or substances, or any other items deemed as contraband.
e. Contain plans to escape, unauthorized entry into the institution, or information or maps which might aid an escape attempt.
f. Contain information relating to security threat group activity or use of codes and/or symbols associated with security threat groups.
g. Sexually explicit material or material which features nudity which by its nature or content poses a threat to the security, good order, or discipline of the institution, or facilitates criminal activity.
Sentence Information Request
To obtain information about an offenders' sentence, send a written request to the address below. In order to help expedite your request, include information that tells us what you are needing, such as release eligibility date, credits earned, etc.
Quite often, we have several offenders with the same name. Provide us with the offenders' full name, date of birth, social security number and offender (TOMIS) number, if known.

If you do not already know the offender's TOMIS ID number and/or the name of the prison, click on FOIL - Inmate Search. You will need the offender's name and possibly a date of birth, if it is a common name.
Once you have found the correct offender, you will need to write down the TOMIS ID number. Click on "location" to get the name of the prison.

Go to State Prisons to find the address for the prison.
Address the envelope with the offender's committed name, TOMIS identification number and the correct institutional address of the offender recipient. Aliases may be included when such have been legally changed through the court.
All letters must contain a return name and address.
