Limestone Correctional Facility opened during October 1984 and is located on 1,600 acres in Harvest, AL. The facility is approximately ten miles east of Athens, AL and ten miles west of Huntsville, AL. Limestone offers many services including a 90-day reentry program to prepare inmates returning back to the community.
