John R. Lindsey State Jail Visiting Information:

Visiting Hours are as follows:
Visits are normally conducted on Saturdays and Sundays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The names of all visitors, 18 years old and older (except offender’s attorney), must be on the approved Visitors list, with a limit of 10 people. For more information on visiting an inmate click here and read the visiting rules and regulations. Since visiting times change frequently we suggest you contact the institution directly at the number provided above.

    i have a question my husband is an inmate there and i was want to know about visitation if its a contact visit or not and what i have to do to come see him and we have a 1 and a half yr old daughter together and if it was contact visit i was going to bring her to see him and how i put money on his books? just general information i would appricate it if you got back with me thank you!?

    I’m coming from merkel tax an needed to know when I could visit I’m only coming once to visit due to work an just want to see if I was able to get a longer visit

      Prisonpath is a website and not connected in any way with any prison. We provide information about prisons and jails at no charge to the visitors. I would recommend writing to your inmate or call the facility to follow up regarding your placement on his visitor’s list.

    My husband is a prisioner there and i would like to know in how much time in advance would i have to call since im out of town?Another question,we got two kids together and i heard its two visitors,would i be able to go in with my kids? And the main question is,are there congegal visits?

    I am looking for an organization that assists family members with visits and helps inmates upon release, something like “friends outside” Does this facility have anything like that?

      The Reentry and Integration Division (RID)
      assists offenders and their families in
      preparing for the individual’s eventual return
      to the community.

      certificates,

      cards;

    Do You Have To Be 18 Yrs An Older Too Go In Or Can You Go In With A Grown Up ?
    If Youur Under Age Can You Still Visit If Your With A Grown Up ?

      If you are under 18, you need to visit with an adult who is on the visitor’s list (the same as you).
