      Hi Joe,

Please note the following information about the use of wheelchairs for visitation at California prisons.

Mobility devices such as canes, crutches, and wheelchairs; some prisons do
not allow personal canes, crutches, or wheelchairs to be taken into visiting but

Dear Sir or Madame, my son was an inmate at California Institution for Men. Me and my two daughters were finally approved for visitation at that prison, but now my son has been transferred to Ironwood prison. Do me and my daughters need him to send us another visitation form for ironwood prison and wait another God knows how long before getting approved again? Or do the prison officers know that we are already approved so we don’t need to fill out another visitation application for ironwood? Someone told me once we were approved at the first prison we dont need to fill another application for visitation again. We live three hours away so I dont want to waste all that gas if we have to go thru the whole visitors application process again before scheduling a visit to see him. My name is Erin Valdez, and my two daughters are Haylee Duarte and Ashlee Duarte. My son is named Ryan Thomas Valdez and he is at Ironwood prison in Blythe California. Also do my kids need to bring their birth certificates with them when they visit him? Also I cant ever get a live person on the prison phone number so I dont have the ability to schedule a visit. What can I do to visit him in person when there isnt anyone who calls me back and nobody answers the phone ever? Please call me at 760 847 3480. Thanks, Erin Valdez (mother of ironwood inmate Ryan valdez. Thanks.
