Fremont Correctional Facility Visiting Information:

Visiting Hours: Fri 12-4; Sat/Sun 9-4
Visiting this Facility:
Visitors are allowed to visit on Friday and Saturday or Friday and Sunday, but not Saturday and Sunday.
Please read the East Canon Complex Visiting Rules.
Processing times:
Fridays: 11:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays: 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Subject to weather conditions vending machines may not be available.
Make sure that you review the DOC Visiting Rules.

Before Visiting
Before you can visit an offender housed in a DOC facility you must fill out a Visiting Application. For further information, please contact our Visiting program at (719) 269-5319.


No time limit unless space availability is limited.

    What type of inmates are housed at Fremont?

      Hi Mary,

      Please note the following from the Fremont Correctional Facility web site:

      Fremont Correctional Facility (FCF) is a mixed custody, Level III institution that houses male offenders. Offenders confined in FCF have custody classifications ranging from minimum to administrative segregation. The facility currently houses 1,661offenders with a line staff of 431 and 76 other staff. FCF encompasses approximately 51acres and 542,000 square feet of physical plant.

    Thank you. My son has just been placed in Fremont. Is there a case manager or someone I can talk to about what I need to do to help him?

    I am not sure if you can answer my question here ,but I wanted to know what the status is on my application to visit my son.I send it off a little more then 2 weeks ago.

    Hi my name is quiana im 17 years old an I have been looking for my fother for 17 years I have just found out that he has been held in this place I wanna give his name out but im unsure if that is the right thing to do but all I wanna say is please please give me some type of information I just wanna know my daddy .     I just found out my uncle is there and has a next hearing in 2018. Is there any lawyer helping him in his case or how can I request one from him? He has a 16y and 3y sentence but I do not know what it means. Please help my grandma is devastated am I do not have the money to hire a lawyer but I want to help him. Please help us.

    Hi Brenda,

    To mail a letter;

    To send mail to an offender please ensure that your envelope includes the following information:
    Offender Name – Please use the offender’s commitment name. Offenders may receive mail that identifies them by a legally changed name IF the offender’s commitment name is listed first followed by the legally changed name.
    Offender Number
    Facility – You can locate an offender through our offender locator
    Facility mailing address – These can be found on our facilities page
    Return address OR Jpay letter ID for offender e-mail.

    To E-mail:

    E-mail allows a person to send an electronic message to an offender housed in one of our facilities. The e-mail system uses JPay. To send an e-mail to an inmate please visit JPay to create an account. Before you can send an e-mail you will need the inmate’s DOC number. PLEASE NOTE at this time, offenders may only respond to e-mails via regular U.S. Mail.

    To Telephone:

    Colorado Inmate Phone System ( CIPS ) is the phone system used in Colorado correctional facilities. To set up an account to receive collect calls from an offender, you must set up an account online at Offender Connect or by phone at 1-800-913-6097.

    I have agreed to sponsor an inmate for parole that has just been moved to Fremont Is there any way I can check that his parole hearing is still scheduled for March 5,2019?
