Good Evening! My name is Marilee Joyce and my wonderful penpal at Fluvanna is Linda Whitworth 1002279. I would very much like to come visit her and I have not been able to find information online as to the hours of visitation. I believe I am clear that her visitation days are odd numbered weekend days, but I don’t know what time to come and also how much time to allow myself for paperwork and background check on me etc.

Is it possible for someone to answer these questions? I am interested in visiting in August so I hope to hear back soon. Thanks so much! Marilee

Where does one send the filled out visitation form?

    • PrisonPath January 7, 2014 at 9:12 pm #

      Hi Frances,

please note the following information about visitation at the Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women:
Beginning December 1, 2013, new visitors applying to visit facilities after January 1, 2014, will be required to submit visitation applications online. This process will allow applications to be screened at the Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) central office, and approved visitors will experience less time waiting to be processed at the facility. Paper applications for first time visitors will be allowed for those who plan to visit during the upcoming Thanksgiving to Christmas holidays.

For information about prison life, read the 25 Rules.
