Visitors will need two (2) forms of identification when registering for a visit (one of the forms of identification must be a photo identification)
Examples of identification accepted: Drivers license, State I.D. Card, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate.
Children under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (Documentation is required).
Visits are scheduled on a "first come, first served" basis.
You may only schedule one visit per day.
Facilities may choose the way in which they schedule visitation (Walk-in Scheduling or Phone in Scheduling). A list will be provided on this page.
If phone in scheduling is used:
1. You may not call back to add someone to the visit list.
2. You may only call one time per day to schedule a visit.
3. You can only call on designated days.
4. Each person who is to visit must be registered by the person
scheduling the visit.
Visitation with family and friends is encouraged.
Visitation periods will be scheduled at least four times per week, for a duration of not less than three hours per period. Visitation schedules will be posted in each living unit.
Contact visitation is a privilege for all inmates, unless a particular inmate's criminal charges or behavior would create a security risk. In those instances, visitation will be non-contact. An individual must be incarcerated for a period of thirty (30) days before becoming eligible for contact visits.
Contact visitors may embrace and kiss once at the beginning of the visit and once at the end.
No other physical contact is allowed except as provided in Paragraph 6.
Inmates who are parents may hold their small children on their laps or feed them during the visit.
Inmates shall be clean and fully dressed while in visitation.
Visitors must be fully and appropriately dressed while in visitation. Female visitors must wear bras and are not allowed to wear provocative clothing, as determined by the Facility Shift Supervisor.
All inmates are subject to search prior to and after each visit.
Visitors are subject to a pat-search prior to entering the visitation area.
Visitors who refuse to consent to pat-search will be denied entry to visitation at that time.
Lockers are provided in the public lobby for the visitors' purses and packages. No such item is allowed inside the security area.
There shall be no smoking, food or drinks allowed in the visitation area.
Visitors who are minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
The passing of any item from visitor to inmate or from inmate to visitor is prohibited.
An inmate who is denied a visitor shall have the right to challenge the denial, in writing, to the Facility Administrator.
The Administrator or designee may schedule special visits at times other than established visiting hours, based upon good cause and sufficient notice. Such visits should be requested in writing.
A visit may be terminated by staff if the inmate or visitor's conduct warrants.
No time limit unless space availability is limited.
