Prison Description

The primary mission of the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison at Corcoran (SATF/CSP) is to protect the public by ensuring those inmates who are remanded to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) remain in custody, until they are scheduled to be released.  Provide educational, vocational, re-entry and self-help programs that are current by society’s standards that will provide inmates life skills, and work skills that can be used in support of their efforts at reintegration into society.

I am trying desperately to hunt down my fiance’s cousin who I do know is at this prison but would like to know what info is needed to write & successfilly get a letter to him. My fiance has hardly any family living so it is hard to get this info. His cousin- who is an inmate here- name is Robert Grimes. He is white and in his late 40’s early 50’s.
