      Hi Cindy,

If you have not heard from your husband, call the prison. If the officers are not helpful. call the prison chaplain for assistance.

    Emergency Visits:

Sometimes emergency or hardship visits are allowed before a person has been
approved to visit. Such visits are at the discretion of prison staff (usually the Visiting
Sergeant or Lieutenant) and are usually to accommodate an unexpected visitor
traveling from a distance in excess of 250 miles. You should not rely on receiving
approval to visit without going through the normal visiting application process.
Whenever possible, you should plan ahead for visits and have each adult who might
want to visit submit applications before they embark on a trip that will include a visit
    to a prisoner

Editor, I was just reading tgruohh the Federal Sentence Guidelines as well as the Offense Severity Scale and how it calculates it’s score that ultimately determines the security level of the inmate and of course affects the facility that the inmate gets assigned to.Anyway, I just thought it was interesting (being an avid reader of the blog, and having a reasonable knowledge of what’s going on with Joe) I was wondering if he was going to move to a low security facility since it sounds like he probably has low enough points to do so.A few things though which may actually answer my question lol. If I recall correctly, he had been in a low facility previously and then was moved to a medium due to harassment or some such? Also, since he is coming to the end of his sentence he probably doesn’t want to move from the SOMP facility since the security level of a facility doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s a safer (or more enjoyable) place. The last thing I was just thinking about was that even if he was interested in moving, and since he’s in that program (the name escapes me) he probably can’t move from there unless he is written up for something major, and that’s just not something I’m sure he’s keen on doing.Anyway, like I mentioned I probably answered my own question but there ya go.. He ought to be eligible for Club Fed’. -Matt
