I’ve got a dear friend in Terrell unit and I’m visiting from Australia will they allow a contact visit

    • PrisonPath says:

      Hi Australia,

First, you have to be on the inmate’s approved visitor list. You need to write him or have someone let him know that you are here and he can add you to his visitor’s list. At this prison, you can only have ten visitors on the list. For further information, check the prison web site and call the prison. Good luck with your visit.

  2. Linda says:

Hi I’m on his contact list and he knows when I’m arriving in the US will they allow me a contact visit because I’m coming from overseas

    • PrisonPath says:

      Hi Linda,
Please note the following rule for the prison:

Visits Requiring Advance Scheduling: Visits may occur on agency-closed holidays (except Christmas Day) that fall on Mondays or Fridays, if scheduled in advance. Arrangements to schedule these visits may not be made on any state holiday. All arrangements to schedule visits must be made through the Warden’s office between 8:00 a.m. and
5:00 p.m. at least one day, but not more than seven days, prior to the visit. Visitors arriving late, that is more than 15 minutes past the beginning scheduled visit time, may not be allowed to visit during any of the scheduled time. Unit administration shall make every effort to accommodate late arrivals, if time and space is available.

    • PrisonPath says:

      Hi Linda,

Please read the following excerpt from the C.T.Terrell unit regarding visitation. We would also recommend calling the facility for additional information since you are coming from Australia for the visit for other visitation regulations. You can also click the link for the prison’s web site for more information. See the following:

  5. Carol says:

I am an authorized process server and have papers to serve on an inmate there. What is the procedure to serve papers? I have his SID and SPN numbers. Please let me know so I can take care of this as soon as possible. Thank you!

    • PrisonPath says:

      Hi, Carol,

prisonpath.com is a private web site providing information about prisons and jails. However, you need to call the prison directly for the procedure to serve legal documents on an inmate.

I dont know what all info I can really list here without crossing any lines. I do however know that my inquiry is about a sex offender at this unit. He is registered etc etc so this information about him is not private. My daughter was ONE of his victims. What I would like to know is why is he at this location? We have not been informed of any of the times he has been moved as we were told by the Kaufman Co Da’s office we would be. (then again NO suprise there…NOTHING was as they told us it would be) So, Im curious as to why his parole date or release date is showing to be for May of 2014 when he was given 7 years and was to serve the full sentence. Can someone please contact me about this or tell me what to do to find out the information I need. Please and thank you.
