My son in now at Salisbury but will be moved soon. Before incarceration he was going to a votech sshool studying refrigeration and air conditioning. He was employed by a local company who wants to rehire him when he is released. Is there any way to request a prison in the DOC of N.C. that would enable him to complete his degree? Thank you, Marie Cottle, parent of David Joshua Cottle

      Hi Maria,

prisonpath.com is a private web site that provides information about prisons, but is not part of the prison systems of the United States. I would recommend contacting the case manager who is assigned to your son.

How do i go about sending a letter? If i have no way to contact my boyfriend to get his PID #

    • PrisonPath July 31, 2013 at 2:10 pm #

      Hi Kat,

Try the e-message and request from your boyfriend to mail the number to you.
      Offenders can receive incoming eMessages.
To register, please contact JPAY at 1-866-333
      5729 or
      on the web.
Only incoming mail is available. The offender
is not allowed to return the eMessage. Friends
and family members must purchase electronic
      stamps on-line from
      (the price
of a US postage stamp). The message to the
      offender is completed on
      -line and sent to the
JPAY facility interface. TDCJ unit mailroom
staff download and review incoming messages,
and upon approval, the messages are printed
      and delivered to the offender.
