I want to visit an inmate in the SHU and he has been designated and I have a 6hr drive (one way) How soon is the transfer put on the inmate locator when they leave the facility? If I check at 5:30 a. m. and he left the day or night before will the locator say he is not there??
    please advise

      Hi Lynn,

I would not visit without confirming the availability with the prison. Since you are making a 12 hour drive, contact the prison about arrangementsfor a special visit.

I am looking for a classmate that I have been looking for and I think he is an inmate at your facility..I would like to send an email to him but wasn’t sure how and if I could?I would love to let him know that I was thinking about him and would love to communicate with him..Thank you for having a page for questions and for having a place to help people get back on their feet and be the person they really want and need to be.
