We are concerned for our Son who is in the ECHC as he is on prescribed medication from his Doctor, which can result in seizures if abruptly taken off the medication. Is there any way of lawfully having the medication dispensed in the facility. We treat our heroin attics with enough dignity to hand out savaxin, methodone and needles. It scares me to think he could be paying with his life, for a mistake he confessed to, and is willing to pay the price for.

My boyfriend was arrested for DWI – blowing .1 which means a blood alcohol level over only by .02. He had 2 beers in 4 hours. We didn’t know where he was as he was planning to be visiting the USA for a few hours, but didn’t make it back home to Toronto. Not allowing him to call his family to let them know what was going on is shameful on your facility’s part – no excuses for that. First offense for him – not like he makes a living by being a criminal.

Thank God for an inmate who, upon release, called me to let me know where he was. Imagine that.

I hope my country/people don’t treat your people, under the same circumstances, the same way you treated us.

What information do I need to write an inmate so I know the letter will get to them? Are they allowed to receive mail?

    • PrisonPath December 5, 2012 at 4:17 am #

      Hi,

You need the inmate’s ID NO., the prison’s full address, and you can write to the inmate. The correctional officers will search the envelope for contraband. You cannot mail cash to the inmate, but you can write to him.

Can you visit someone at ECHC at 17?

    • PrisonPath May 30, 2013 at 10:17 pm #

      Hi kimmie,

Almost all prisons require an adult to accompany a minor to visitation. I recommend calling the facility directly for additional information about visitation.

Hello. My son was recently arrested for several warrents, but when picked up by regular buffalo police deparrment it was seen by witness sitting in their window as well as camera on the biulding that my son was trapped inside a car by police he was sitting in, also they were seen pulling him out and 2 police officers beating him pretty bad. This was described in detail by several different elderly tenants. They were very upset to had witness this and I soon came upon the seen where he was siiting in a cop cae and was very bloody. I do plan to persue this situation with a lawyer and such because I have plenty of proof. It was noticed that my son never refused arrest or seen trying to defennd himself. He is about 125 lbs and at least 5.7. Very sickly person but missed some court dates resulting in warrents. If anyone can help me my email is ccstoud39@gmail.com I would greatly appreciate. Il give my phone num from there. Thaks in advance.

What is the information for visiting the ECHC? hours? Days dresss code? can you wear shorts? I live some 80 miles away and would hate to travel there and not be allowed to visit. Can not find any information using the link at the top of the page. Am I missing something?
