We are concerned for our Son who is in the ECHC as he is on prescribed medication from his Doctor, which can result in seizures if abruptly taken off the medication. Is there any way of lawfully having the medication dispensed in the facility. We treat our heroin attics with enough dignity to hand out savaxin, methodone and needles. It scares me to think he could be paying with his life, for a mistake he confessed to, and is willing to pay the price for.
It would be worthwhile to contact an attorney to help you with this important issue.

They don’t give buprenorphin(suboxone, not savaxin) nor needles in echc. Ur son is fine. If he’s prescribed a seizure med he’s fine. Don’t spew crap if u don’t know the facts. If a cancer patient goes into echc and is prescribed suboxone they do Not get that right in echc and therefore denied their prescribed meds. And it’s not only heroin addicts(not attics) that are on suboxone or methadone. And a person who is in a methadone program is denied their prescribed meds in echc. Learn the facts and learn to spell
I enjoy reading write-up. Hope i can discover a lot more articles like this one. Thanks for posting.

My boyfriend was arrested for DWI – blowing .1 which means a blood alcohol level over only by .02. He had 2 beers in 4 hours. We didn’t know where he was as he was planning to be visiting the USA for a few hours, but didn’t make it back home to Toronto. Not allowing him to call his family to let them know what was going on is shameful on your facility’s part – no excuses for that. First offense for him – not like he makes a living by being a criminal.
Thank God for an inmate who, upon release, called me to let me know where he was. Imagine that.
I hope my country/people don’t treat your people, under the same circumstances, the same way you treated us.
We at Prisonpath are very sympathetic to your predicament. Please note that prisonpath is a privately owned company that provides information about every prison or jail to individuals like you.
What information do I need to write an inmate so I know the letter will get to them? Are they allowed to receive mail?
Referring to the question above, the person I am writing to is at the Erie County Holding Center.
You need the inmate’s ID NO., the prison’s full address, and you can write to the inmate. The correctional officers will search the envelope for contraband. You cannot mail cash to the inmate, but you can write to him.
Is there visiting hours on Christmas Eve?
When it is the holiday season, you need to call the facility to confirm the visitation schedule.
Is there a way to search to see if someone is in the holding center?
Can you have more than one visitor at a time
I recommend that you call to confirm that you can have more than one visitor at a time. It is my understanding that you can.
I am trying to write an inmate, is there a way to get an inmate number or even to find if he is there?
First, try our inmate locator page. If not successful, click our inmate locator on the prison page. For further information, call the facility. The telephone number is located on the top of the prison page.
Can you visit someone at ECHC at 17?
Almost all prisons require an adult to accompany a minor to visitation. I recommend calling the facility directly for additional information about visitation.

Hello. My son was recently arrested for several warrents, but when picked up by regular buffalo police deparrment it was seen by witness sitting in their window as well as camera on the biulding that my son was trapped inside a car by police he was sitting in, also they were seen pulling him out and 2 police officers beating him pretty bad. This was described in detail by several different elderly tenants. They were very upset to had witness this and I soon came upon the seen where he was siiting in a cop cae and was very bloody. I do plan to persue this situation with a lawyer and such because I have plenty of proof. It was noticed that my son never refused arrest or seen trying to defennd himself. He is about 125 lbs and at least 5.7. Very sickly person but missed some court dates resulting in warrents. If anyone can help me my email is email@example.com I would greatly appreciate. Il give my phone num from there. Thaks in advance.
What is the information for visiting the ECHC? hours? Days dresss code? can you wear shorts? I live some 80 miles away and would hate to travel there and not be allowed to visit. Can not find any information using the link at the top of the page. Am I missing something?
Unfortunately we do not have specific information about the Erie County Holding Center visitation policy. We recommend that you call the facility for information–: (716) 937-9101
